Israel - Germany Joint Issue 50 Years of Diplomatic Relations

The stamp features the Beit Bruno building located #3 Strauss St. which was built by architect Zeev Heller in 1935. The stamp tab features the logo marking 50 years of diplomatic relations between Israel and Germany.

The First Day Cover features the building at #29 Idelson St. which was designed by Israel Prize recipient architect Dov Karmi in 1936. The building shall serve as a Heritage Center for the architecture of the White City.

King Heonjong (1827 – 1849), the 24th monarch of the Joseon Dynasty, appreciated and enjoyed collecting seals. He even published a book titled, Bosodanginjon (寶蘇堂印存), to introduce the seals he personally collected as well as seals used for private purposes by previous kings of Joseon. Korea Post introduces four personal seals from King Heonjong’s collection in the first set of the Seals of the Joseon Dynasty Series.

Expo Milan 2015 will be hosted in Italy from May 1 through October 31, focusing on "Feeding the Earth – Energy for Life" in the context of food and nutrition.

The theme of the Israeli pavilion at Expo Milano 2015 is The Fields of Tomorrow. A model of a typical Israeli field is the pavilion's key component and an inseparable part of the structure. This towering vertical field is 68 meters long and 12 meters high, stretching along the entire side of the Israeli pavilion.
